  2. 1 Onion *coarsely cut
  3. 1/4 mug Parsley *finely chopped
  4. 2 – 3 cloves Garlic

    Step-step making ‘Falafel’ Chickpea Balls

    1. Place the dry Chickpeas in a large bowl and cover with chilly water. The chickpeas will expand to over double their size, so make sure you cover with plenty of water. Soak overnight. Drain the water and rinse the beans before cooking food.

    2. Place all ingredients in a food processor. Process until finely chopped, well combined and almost insert. Transfer to a bowl.

    3. Roll the tablespoonfuls of mixture in to 3cm balls and place on a tray. The mixture is very smooth, but it hardens as it is usually cooked.

    4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan or a frying pot and fry the chickpea balls turning until nicely browned just about all over, then drain on paper towels.
