The ingredients Easy Poha Recipes

  1. 300 gram poha
  2. 4 medium size onions (chopped)
  3. 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  4. 1 table spoon oil
  5. 1/3 spoon cumin seeds
  6. 2 green chilli (chopped)
  7. Coriander leaves (for garnish)
  8. Turmeric half a spoon
  9. to taste Salt
  10. to taste Red chilli powder

Step-step making Easy Poha Recipes

  1. Soaked the poha for a minute and then take it out of water or simply washed the poha under tap and keep it aside in a sieve so it could dry out.

  2. Now take a pan and add oil in it. Once oil heats up add cumin seeds. Once the seeds popped then add the chopped green chilli and onions in it. Stir it until onions become soft and change their color. Then add chopped tomato in it.

  3. Once tomato are cooked ad the turmeric, salt and chilli powder to it. Stir it for couple more minutes then add the washed up poha in it. Make sure there are no lumps in the poha. Or if there are in that case smooth them with your hands prior to adding them to the tadka.

  4. Cook it for couple minutes and keep stirring after you add the poha in the pan so the poha won’t stick to the base of the pan. In that case serve it with tea or your choice of veggie or enjoy it just like it is.
