  1. a single cup Chanadal
  2. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  3. 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
  4. 1 teaspoon Ginger finely sliced
  5. Green chilli 2chopped
  6. Curry leaves 1sprig
  7. 2 Tamatos
  8. 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder snow
  9. 1/2 tsp Amchur powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
  11. Jaggery 1/2tsp (optional)
  12. Oil2tbsp
  13. to taste Sodium
  14. 2 cup Water
  15. Corrinder leaves finely chopped 2tbsp
  16. Onions 2finely sliced for garnish
  17. 1/2 pot Green chutney
  18. 1/2 cup Special chutney
  19. 1 cup For pakwan-. Wheat flour
  20. 1/4 cup Semolina
  21. Oil2tbsp
  22. to taste Salt
  23. 1/2 tsp Carom seeds
  24. Water as required
  25. Oil for serious frying

Step-step making Easy Dal pakwan Recipes

  1. Pressure cook the soaked dal along with turmeric powder and water up to 2whistles on high and cook on low heat for 5minutes

  2. Heat oil in a small pan once it turns hot add cumin seeds, hing, ginger, green chilli and curry leaves and saute for few seconds if using tamatos add it and allow to cook for 5minutes

  3. Add red chilli, amchoor, garam masala, salt and jaggery and mix well add this mixture to. cooked daland simmer on. low medium heat for few minutes

  4. Remove the dal to a serving dish garnish with fresh corrinder leaves and onions drizzle some green chutney, sweet chutney over it and serve with pakwan

  5. To make pakwan – In a bowl add whole wheat flour, maida, sooji, salt ajwain and. mix well slowly add water to make a firm dough it should not be too soft make small balls of the dough dust the working surface and roll into a circle

  6. Make fork impression all over the rolled out circles so that it does not puff up while being deep fried in hot oil

  7. Serve the pakwan with Chanadal
