Easy Matcha Cheesecake Recipes

  1. Base
  2. 125 grams Choco Ripple Toast OR sweet biscuits of the choice
  3. 50 g Butter *melted
  4. *Note: Very dry less fat chocolate biscuits need more wetness. Add 1-2 tablespoons Cream, Milk products or extra Butter
  5. Filling
  6. 250 grams Cream Cheese *softened
  7. 1/3 cup Sugar
  8. 1/2 cup Cream
  9. 2 large Eggs
  10. a couple of tablespoons Plain Flour
  11. 1 tablespoon Matcha Powder

  1. Preheat the oven to 160℃. Collection a 18cm springform cake tin along with baking paper and cover the bottom part with foil.

  2. For the base, mix crumbled Biscuits and melted Butter until moist. Place into the cake tin and press firmly over the base.

  3. Process almost all ingredients until smooth. If you do not have food processor, mix all components very well using electric beater or hand mixer.

  4. Pour in to the cake tin over the foundation but save small amount. Add a few Matcha powder to the saved combination and make it darker green. Making use of this mixture you can create design but it is optional.

  5. Place the tin in a roasting pan, pour cooking water to the pan about 2cm deep. Bake for 50 minutes or until just set. Allow to cool completely.
    *Note: This steam baking method is optional. You can cook this cake without hot water with regard to drier result.
