  1. 3 table spoon-Poppy seeds /Gasa gase
  2. 1 fist-Raw rice
  3. 1 cup-Grated coconut
  4. 4 table spoon-Grated dry coconut
  5. Elaichi-as needed
  6. 1 cup-Jaggery
  7. Dry fruits-Raisins, cashews

Step-step making Easy Gasa gase payasa Recipes

  1. Soak rice, poppy seeds in a bowl full of water for three hours.

  2. Grind it to a fine insert by adding the soaked rice, Gasa gase, grated coconut, dry coconut and elaichi.

  3. In a heavy bottomed vessel add jaggery and required amount of water and bring it to boil.

  4. Then increase the ground paste to the boat containing jaggery syrup and stir continually for 10 minutes.

  5. Garnish it with your choice of dry fruits fried in ghee. Gasa gase payasa is ready to serve.
