Easy Rhubarb and ginger damper Recipes

The ingredients for making Easy Rhubarb and ginger damper Recipes

  1. 15 grms butter
  2. 200 grams finely chopped rhubarb (I applied thawed)
  3. 300 grams do it yourself raising flour
  4. pinch bicarbonate soda
  5. 1 teaspoon surface cinnamon
  6. 60 grams surface almonds
  7. 2 tablespoons carefully chopped crystallised ginger
  8. 75 grams caster sugar
  9. 1 cup milk (I used evaporated whole milk, use as needed)
  10. optionally available caster sugar to sprinkle

Step-step making Rhubarb and ginger damper

  1. Chop rhubarb (I used previously iced rhubarb)

  2. Melt butter and stir rhubarb. prepare until just tender. cool. (original formula states 5minutes but because I utilized blanched thawed rhubarb it only will take a minute)

  3. Sift flour soda cinnamon directly into bowl. Stir in the almonds ginger sugar and rhubarb. (drain excess water from rhubarb) stir milk slowly thus you get a just sticky good enough dough.

  4. Knead until clean on a floured surface. Divide within two and place halves onto greased oven trays. Shape into rounds and mark into wedges.

  5. Sprinkle with extra sugars and bake in hot oven regarding 20 minutes
