  1. 1 glass rava / sooji
  2. a single cup curd, sour
  3. 10 whole cashews
  4. 1/2 tsp Eno fruit salt
  5. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1/2 tsp urad dal
  7. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp chana dal
  9. 4 tsp oil
  10. 10 curry leaves
  11. 1 pinch hing / asafoetida
  12. to taste Salt
  13. As needed Thinly Sliced carrots
  14. As required water

Step-step making Easy Patriotic Idlis Recipes

  1. Take 4 tsp of oil.
    add in mustard seeds, cumin seed products, urad dal, chana dal, curry results in and hing.

  2. Allow it to splutter.
    then add ginger, chilli and saute till raw odor goes away.

  3. Add damaged cashews
    now add rava plus roast for 3 minutes.

  4. Allow it to cool down.
    once completely cooled and add curd and mix well.

  5. Add 1 – 1 cup of water little by little (as required).

  6. Form idli batter consistency.
    add salt to taste and blend well.

  7. Keep aside with regard to some time. (approx. 20 mins).

  8. Now add eno fruit salt and mix till it turn frothy.

  9. Grease the plates along with oil and
    pour the batter into the idli moulds, decorate along with sliced carrots and Coriander leaves

  10. Steam it for 10 minutes.

  11. Allow it to sleep for 5 mins then unmould.

  12. Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
