  1. 800 grms Beetroot
  2. 2 tbsp Oil
  3. 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  4. 1 tbsp Split Chickpeas (Chana Dal)
  5. 1 tbsp Split Black Gram (Urad Dal)
  6. 1/4 tsp Asafetida (Hing)
  7. 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
  8. 1 tbsp Turmeric (Finely chopped)
  9. 5-6 Alternative Chillies or 2 tsp Sambar Powder snow
  10. 2 Onions (Finely chopped)
  11. to taste Salt
  12. .5 tbsp Lemon Liquid
  13. .5 cup Fresh Coconut (Grated)
  14. Some Fresh Coriander

Step-step making Easy Beetroot Stir Fry Karnataka Style Recipes

  1. Wash peel and grate the beetroot into long thin julienne (strips).

  2. Heat oil in a large bottom pan, and add in the particular mustard seeds.

  3. Let the particular mustard seeds crack then add break up chickpeas (Chana dal), split black gram (Urad dal) and roast until gold brown.

  4. Add the asafoetida, curry leaves and ginger. Let this cook for a few seconds.
