  1. 2 glasses Basmati rice
  2. 2 onions
  3. 1 red onion
  4. 1 cup carrots
  5. just one cup French beans
  6. just one cup green peas
  7. three to four green chillies
  8. 5-6 garlic cloves
  9. 1 tbsp ginger
  10. 1 cup coriander leaves
  11. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  13. 1 tsp dhaniya jeera powder
  14. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  15. just one tsp biryani masala dust
  16. 1 tbsp mint departs
  17. Salt as per preference
  18. 4 cloves
  19. 4 black pepper
  20. 2 cinnamon stick
  21. 1 superstar anise
  22. 3 cardamom
  23. two tbsp curd
  24. 6-7 cashews
  25. Butter
  26. Oil
  27. Kesar condensed in 2 tbsp of milk

Step-step making Easy Veg Hyderabadi biryani with raita Recipes

  1. Soak basmati rice for 1/2 hr. Make a paste of ginger garlic green chillies. Make coriander paste.

  2. Chop the veggies. Chop 2 onions finely. Slice 1 onion. Heat oil in Kadhi and fry the sliced onions. keep aside.

  3. Now take a vessel add water, star anise, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon stick, cardamom and salt. Once it starts boiling add the basmati rice. When cooked drain the water and keep aside.

  4. Take a big broad vessel heat oil and butter. Add the whole garam masala, let it crackle. Now add the onions, ginger garlic paste. Cook till onions become golden brown.

  5. Add the dry masalas, salt, curd and coriander paste. Mix well.

  6. Now add the veggies. Mix and cover and cook for sometime.

  7. Now when the veggies half cooked, add the rice, layered with coriander leaves, mint leaves and fried brown onions.

  8. Again put another layer of rice mint leaves, coriander leaves and Kesar soaked in 2 tbsp of milk.

  9. Now cover with a foil paper and keep it on slow flame and cook for 30 mins.

  10. When done, remove in plate and serve with raita.
