  5. 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  6. 1 pinch asafoetida (hing)
  7. 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  8. 1 tsp garam masala
  9. to taste Salt

  1. First we boil toor dal inside pressure cooker with enough water next mash keep aside.

  2. Inside a pan heat oil add cumin seeds when it the crackles include ginger garlic paste then add reddish colored chilli powder and saute well.

  3. Now add methi leaves in addition to cover with lid cook for a few mins.

  4. Now pour the particular mashed toor dal to this tempering mixture

  5. Add water in addition to salt as required

  6. Finally add garam masala and stir properly cook for just 5 mints.

  7. Ready to serve with steamed rice You can garnish with coriander leaves.
