The ingredients Easy Khandvi Recipes

  1. 1 cup gram flour/ besan
  2. 1/2 cup curd (not sour)
  3. 1/4 cup water or as require
  4. to taste Salt
  5. Pinch Turmeric powder
  6. For vaghar/ tadka:
  7. 1 tbsp oil
  8. 1/2 tsp mustard seed/rai dana
  9. 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  10. 1/4 tsp hing
  11. 4-5 curry leaves
  12. 1 small red dry whole chilli
  13. 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  14. 1 green chilli finely chopped
  15. 1 tsp coconut powder
  16. Pinch red chilli powder (optional)

Step-step making Easy Khandvi Recipes

  1. Mix besan/gram flour, curd, salt and even water. Make smooth batter, (at previous you can blend with hand mixer. ) with thin consistency. (Like pudla or like kadhi, not too tasty and not too thick)

  2. Heat a steamer, Spread oil throughout a thali, and put enough crepe mixture to cover bottom. Thin layer involving batter. Cook in steamer for 5-7min. (Make sure you use flat thali)

  3. Take our and continue to keep aside for 2mins. Cut straight and even roll all the cooked batter.

  4. Repeat the same. It can make 3-4 thali to cook. Throw them all and take into some sort of big bowl/ serving plate.

  5. Heat oil in tadka pan in high flame, add mustard, wait right up until all cracked. Turn off heat, in that case add cumin seeds, hing, curry finds and last red chilli cut straight into half. Last add green chilli sliced.

  6. Wait for a minutes. Nowadays top this on khandvi with table spoon. And sprinkle coconut powder and coriander. If u like bit hot and spicy, an individual can sprinkle red chilli powder. (Here I did, coz we like it)

  7. Serve to your household and loved ones.
