Easy Braised Tofu with Prawns & Edamame Recipes

  1. 400-500 g Tofu *medium to soft type recommended
  2. 200 g Prawns *peeled and deveined
  3. 1 pinch Salt
  4. 1/2 tablespoon Sake
  5. 4 Spring Onions *white part
  6. 1 small piece Ginger *finely chopped or grated
  7. 1 tablespoon Oil *canola oil or sesame oil
  8. 1/2 cup Edamame Beans removed from pods
  9. Salt

    1. Prepare prawns. If large ones, slice them in half. Finely chop upward white part of Spring Onions. Slice Tofu into bite-size cubes.

    2. Place all the sauce ingredients within a mixing bowl and mix properly. This has to be done prior to you start cooking. Cooking process does not take long at all.

    3. Heat Oil in a large frying pan or a wok, cook Prawns, Spring Onions and Ginger.

    4. Before you add the sauce blend into the pan, mix it properly again. Then pour in the spices mixture and bring it to steam and let it thicken.

    5. Add Tofu and Edamame gently combine and combine. Salt
