The ingredients for making Easy Piccalilli Recipes

  1. 3 weight chopped vegetables (cucumbers, renewable peppers, onions, and cauliflower)
  2. 1 four cups water
  3. 1/3 cup salt
  4. 2 cups cider vinegar
  5. 2 cups sugar
  6. 2 tbs pickling spices
  7. 2 tsp mustard seed

Step-step making Piccalilli

  1. In a large bowl combine water, salt and chopped vegetables

  2. Cover and place it refrigerator overnight

  3. Heat vinegar and sugar in large pot until just boiling

  4. Wrap pickling spices and mustard seeds in a clean coffee filter and tie with string Add to vinegar

  5. Drain vegetables and add to vinegar mix

  6. Return mixture to just boiling

  7. Remove from heat and allow to cool

  8. Remove spice pack and place mixture into Mason jars

  9. Keep refrigerated until served. Will keep 3-4 weeks
