  1. 200 gms urad dal / split black lentil
  2. 400 gms steam rice ravva
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  5. 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds

Step-step making Easy Thatta kudum Recipes

  1. Take bowl put urad dal, and fenugreek seeds pour water leave 5 to 6 hours it should bathe that

  2. Then drain water rinse wisely then transfer dal in to blender make fine semi liquid kind batter

  3. Mean while take another bowl put steam rice ravva pour water wash properly then take a white cloth put washed rava drain water full it should be wet rava but not watery

  4. Then assemble urad dal paste into rava close lid leave immediately it should be fermentation after that add salt, baking soda mix well take thatta mean deep shaped bowl pour batter this bowl put in to a steamer

  5. Steam in 15 to 20 mins once it fully steamed take a tooth pic check if it non sticky means perfectly steamed take a serving plate turn up thatta kudum leaves thatta freely comes out

  6. Function with red green chutney ready to serve oil free thatta kudum garnish with spring onion
