  1. 6 tbsp Basmati Rice
  2. 3. 5 cups full fat milk
  3. 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  4. 1/2 cup sugar – adjust
  5. 1/2 teaspoon saffron soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk
  6. 13-14 almonds
  7. For garnishing
  8. 1 tbsp sliced almonds
  9. 1 tsp sliced pistachios
  10. 6-7 saffron strands

Step-step making Easy Badam Phirni Recipes

  1. Rinse basmati rice in running water and soak in water for 30-45 minutes

  2. Add boiling water to almonds plus let it sit for 6-7 moments. Drain excess water and Peel the skin of almonds

  3. Grind blanched almonds with 1-2 tablespoon milk into smooth paste. Maintain it aside

  4. Drain excess water and transfer rice to mixer-grinder. Add approx. 2-3 tablespoons water and grind until thick plus smooth paste is formed

  5. Transfer contents to a bowl, mix prepared paste with 1/2 cup milk and keep aside.

  6. Heat leftover milk in deep bottom vessel plus bring to boil stirring ocasionally

  7. Mix rice insert well and add to boiling dairy. Reduce flame to low and cook with continuous stirring until the combination turns creamy and slightly thick

  8. Add sugar, cardamom powder and dissolved saffron strands; stir well and cook for 3-4 minutes

  9. Add in Cashew paste, mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Switch off

  10. Allow to cool somewhat, transfer to 4 small or one big Serving bowl. Garnish with nut products

  11. Cover with foil or wrap. Refrigerate with regard to 2-3 hours

  12. Best served Cold
