  1. 6 potatoes
  2. ¹/² cup All purpose flour (maida)
  3. ¹/² cup Rice flour
  4. 2 tbsp Besan / gram flour
  5. 1 ¹/² tsps Garlic powder
  6. 1 ¹/² tsps Red chilli flakes
  7. 1 tsp Mixed herbs
  8. 1 tsp Dark pepper
  9. 1 tsp Salt
  10. ¹/⁴ cup Cheese
  11. as required Water
  12. 7-8 Papad
  13. as required Oil for heavy fry
  14. as required Tomato sauce
  15. as required Mint chutney

Step-step making Easy Crispy fried papad Recipes

  1. Cut the potatoes into 1 cm slices.

  2. Boil water in a pot. Add salt. Now put the potatoes into the boiling water and cook them for 8-10 mins.

  3. Strain the potatoes and cool them.

  4. Take a bowl and add maida, rice flour, besan, garlic powder, herbs, chilli flakes, black pepper, salt and cheese and mix well. Now add water and mix well to make a thick batter.

  5. Crush the papad and keep it in a bowl.

  6. Coat the potatoes first in batter and then coat in crushed papad.

  7. Freeze them for 10 mins.

  8. Fry on medium heat until golden brown.

  9. Serve with crispy papad with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
