  1. 3/4 mugs Basmati Rice
  2. 1/2 mug thinly sliced Onions
  3. one. 5 cups Water
  4. 1-2 Cloves
  5. 2 Green Cardamom
  6. 1/4 tsp Ginger grated
  7. 1 Bay Leaf
  8. 1/2 inch Cinnamon
  9. 1/2 tbsp Raisins
  10. a few tbsp Ghee
  11. 6 Cashews
  12. to taste Salt
  13. 2 tbsp Coriander leaves to garnish

Step-step making Easy Malabar Nei Choru/ Ghee Rice Recipes

  1. Clean and soak rice for 35 minutes. Drain excess water and retain it aside

  2. Heat two tbsp ghee in a pan, smolder cashews until golden brown, keep this aside.

  3. Today add raisins and saute until puffed up. Drain and keep it out

  4. Now include the onions in same pan. Saute onions until crisp and brown. Empty and remove the onions. Keep this aside

  5. Increase 1 tbsp ghee in same skillet. add all whole spices and saute until aromat

  6. Add rice and saute for 3-4 minutes.

  7. Increase water with salt and mix good. Water should be slightly salty

  8. Simmer, cover in addition to cook until water is absorbed in addition to rice is done

  9. Gently fluff the grain. Garnish the rice with fried cashews, onions, raisins and coriander leaves.

  10. Serve warm together with curry and raita
